The questions from the Lecture
What is Mail art?
What is Fluxus
Fluxus was an international, interdisciplinary art movement that began in the 1960s, characterized by its playful, experimental, and anti-art approach that blurred the lines between art and everyday life. Rejecting traditional values like art as a precious, finished object, Fluxus artists embraced simplicity, humor, and ephemeral performances using ordinary objects and actions to challenge conventions. Key figures include George Maciunas, who founded the movement, and artists like Yoko Ono and Nam June Paik.
